The entire experience of the Supper Club is just so on brand with Melbourne’s dining scene. It’s exceptional and the food is delicious. We will definitely be back again.

This is a great spot to find very good food that is both staple and creative. It is as much about the loud, fun, interactive experience as it as about the food. This is a place to go with friends after work, or on a...More

I always wanted to try George from master chiefs restaurant and I was not disappointed. The waiters were wonderful and explained the food as he bought it out. The room was really nice. It wasn't noisey and nice and quite. It was a bit expensive...More

We ate the set menu. All dishes was very good except for the desert. Five glases (5-6 cl) of wine was OK, but 60 dollars for 25 cl makes a bottle price of 180 dollar. The service was very good.

Decided to treat myself on a recent trip to Melbourne. This place is not cheap but in my view it was worth every penny. The staff were friendly, informative and helpful. It can sometimes be uncomfortable as a solo dinner in such a restaurant but...More

Degustation started at 8.30pm didn’t get out until 12.45am. Big on theatre but unnecessary, they are pleasuring themselves and not me. I don’t want our table conversation to be interrupted to listen to the speech from the staff. Please note that the staff were very...More

Had the wonderful tasting menu, which was incredibly good. The octopus was the best I have ever had, melt in the mouth and perfectly grilled. There was a potato dish which was so Moorish and tasty, I could have jus had that. Small snacks like...More

Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways
tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary

throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You
never quite know what you’ll find around the next
corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and
even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air

George Calombaris' flagship Melbourne restaurant for MAdE Establishment has cemented itself on the global dining scene with its unique Modern Greek cuisine. In October 2006, the four directors joined together to form MAdE Establishment, and opened their first venue, The Press Club Restaurant and Bar. This began a new era for George Calombaris and cemented his place as a culinary star for his Modern Greek Cuisine - never seen before Melbourne; where modern twists to traditional Greek cuisine has put this restaurant on the global map and has diner's wanting more. The Press Club seats 38 guests in individual booths. Next door to The Press Club at 52 Flinders Street, is Press Club - Projects, George Calombaris' creative and development kitchen. This space can be booked privately for up to 8 guests and offers a completely interactive experience as the chefs experiment with new dishes to make the menu in The Press Club.
