Had different experiences on separate visits. Not sure if they have several chefs and managers that reflected on the varying quality of both the food and the service.

A touch disappointing - our memory of this restaurant from 6 years ago was that it was the best Chinese food in Melbourne. While ok, it did not warrant that kind of accolade any longer.

Don't expect flash decor or fine dining but do expect fantastic authentic Chinese food and fast efficient service typical of old fashioned Chinese restaurants. We have a family tradition every year of dining here, we order the same old favourite dishes and have never been...More

A little gem in China town, we found this a few visits ago for dinner. Great food friendly staff and reasonable prices. Not big and flashy just great food.

This is one of Melbourne’s unofficial iconic Chinese restaurant. No flash decor needed just food. Been coming here maybe twice a year for the last 28 years, always there, same corner back alley location. Sometimes if you’re unlucky you’ll end up downstairs but that is...More

This place has been in Melbourne since the dawn of time and never disappoints. The roast pigeon was especially good this time. Don't come for the ambience or service, just the food!

I visited this place for dinner with my friends. Food always good. Rice porridge with seafood combination is one of the best. Snow peas leaves stir fry with garlic sauce and steam fish oyster with ginger is 5 stars.

Went for an impromptu dinner, I had no idea it existed, taken there by family. The food was fantastic and not expensive. Choice is mind blowing. If you ate there once or twice a week it would take years to go through the menu. I...More

Chinatown
Locals know that Chinatown is the tried and true place
to eat before hitting the nightclub scene. The place
simply buzzes, and the well-preserved buildings exude
a sense of Imperial China stemming from immigration

Little Bourke Street, you'll find delicious dishes
such as sizzling honeyed prawns, and value for your
money. Stately matrons oversee family kitchens serving
