Been coming here since the '70s.... Nothing changes here and 24/7 it's always a great feed with wonderful caring staff. Supplement your meal with a 2x steamed dimmy entree!!!!!

Open 24hrs the Embassy cafe is a very convenient cafe located on the western edge of the city. The food is not high class by any means but is better than the local "Late night Kebab"

The embassy axi cafe is a cafe of yesteryear. It reminded me of cafes from my youth with Italian TV playing on the wall, smokers enmasse, and average coffee and meals. Melbourne 50 years ago and yet I liked it. Must be the nostalgia kicking in.

Embassy is our Saviour. What a aesthetically pleasing palace of dim sim joy. No place on earth harnesses the dim sim cooking powers like Embassy. Ancient Double cooking techniques are obviously put in play in that magical cooking den of brutality........Steamed..........and Then Fried......how would think of the glorious dim sim madness!!!!!! The staff ......delightfull The Decor.....Devilish

This cafe is still frequented by the taxi drivers that used to work out of the offices upstairs. It's still well patronized by off duty limo drivers as well as blue collar workers seeking a tradies breakfast of dim sims, chips and coke. My favorite burger with the lot was as good as always. I recommend the mixed grill and... More

Burger with the lot does not include cheese, beetroot, pineapple, or any other crazy ingredients. It was a bit too salty a well. Had better but it's a good nostalgic feel for a crappy burger joint. I doubt if bother again.

Stopped by this morning after reading a review on 25 best melbourne breakfasts and we weren't disappointed. Portions were generous and reasonably priced. Service was fantastic, the woman serving was very friendly and it was a delight to be greeted by someone so lovely in the morning. The decor isnt flash, it is pretty basic but if you are after... Prices are cheap and meals are huge. A great place for breakfast. Somewhere where the locals go. It not the most fanciest of places but it has a decent breakfast with friendly staff.

This venue looks like a petrol or gas station full of taxi drivers, so most people think it’s only for the drives, but it’s actually open to the public. Management are Greeks and that influence shows in their menu; souvlaki and old-school fish and chips. It’s a no-frills food joint, so don’t expect table service or a barista making those... More
