I went here and it was filthy. I know the staff are busy at the counter but they should have a cleaner do something. I wouldn't like to be hanging here at night again. I also couldn't use the toilet because it was locked at night.

The McDonald's of Australia. Fast food, yes. Good wholesome food, no. Surely, you can find something better elsewhere.

Great place to grab a bite to eat. There is an upstairs dining option, with plenty of room - especially for large group. I would recommend that you order, then head upstairs for a more quiet place, but large for many people. The down side, the Hungry's Jack did not have Wifi, as compared to the McDonalds just a couple... More

Thank you hungry jacks bulleen for making me never want hungry jacks again. Chips were dry, chewy and over cooked. Burger was cold to the touch. It was even cold in the centre... Must have been sitting there for hours! Disgusting. Words can't explain how bad it was.

I went there for lunch once i touch down in Mel. The food was nice but its not really a clean place. I take-away the food cause its dirty and yucky there. The food i ordered came cold maybe because its winter there. Try the fries.

We were doing a rushed 1 day visit to Melbourne and bought a fast and affordable meal at this HJ's. Upon entry the store appeared appeared fairly grubby but we went there anyway. Staff were very average at best and the meal also was average. My husband used the toilets before leaving and came out telling me they were terrible,... More

Visited here at 10.30pm after a sporting event at MCG. Large queues for food as only one person taking orders, food arrived cold , tasteless and dry. The toilets in the restaurant were disgusting and you could smell them from 20m away. The restaurant in general felt dirty. Will never go back here..... Hungry Jacks- you have some work to... More

Hungry Jack's is in Swanston Street,Melbourne, just up from Flinders Street Station, Melbourne's main suburban railway station. The hamburgers are ultra cheap, it's often very busy. All sorts of customers can be found there, Hungry Jack's is great for a quick meal or a snack..

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques, throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You never quite know what you’ll find around the next corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air of Berlin in the street art, a touch of Paris in the umbrella-shaded cafes and, reminiscent of Rome, eateries tucked away in the most unlikely of places. Perhaps you might want a break and cross the Yarra River to Southbank - walk along the promenade, bask in the sun at a waterside bar and decide whether to go to the nearby casino or book a ticket at the Melbourne theatre company.
