I just love this place its I really don't think there are many places that you can have a drink in the middle of the river with out being on a boat. A delightful place to stop for a glass of wine when you are in Melbourne. It's on a bridge crossing the Yarra River. Be careful you don't miss... More

We dropped in for a drink on our way to meet friends for dinner and were not impressed by the poor service of one particular employee on the day. Clearly not interested in serving drinks, had to drag off phone only to be eyeballed for the inconvenience, pretty shabby really. Drink was ok but the place could use a good... More

back in Melbourne for the weekend and back to a place we used to go to regularly. Hasn't changed much at all over the past 4/5 years. Very laid back and relaxing for an afternoon drink.

A delightful place to stop for a beer on your way around Melbourne's CBD. It's on a bridge crossing the Yarra built into one of the bridge stanchions. Be careful or you will miss it! you go down the stairs to the bar which is literally in the middle of the river. Lots of seating close to the water with... More

Great little pub right on the Yarra River, you can't get any closer without being in it! Very popular with the hip crowd. Great local beer and lively atmosphere.

Have wanted to have a drink here for ages. Staff were friendly. Very disappointed for range of tap beer. We sat and starred at the dirty upside-down river...the yarra. Didn't find it appealing that close to it. Better off to sit at the many bars in southbank.

Wow what a great location right under the bridge. I really liked the look & feel of this place the moment i walked down the stairs. I actually was considering having a coffee but apparently they dont do coffee but i was down for a beer. I found the beer choices limited but im happy to drink anything with this... More

Frankly the setting is irresistible, a small bar on the middle of the river. Standard drink offerings at.reasonable prices. Well worth a visit.

What a great spot, right on the water, great place for after work drinks or a lazy weekend afternoon. It does get busy so hey there earl to get a spot to sit. It can get a bit cold on the water so be sure to have something warm to wear when the sun goes down.

Ponyfish Island Cafe is such a fun little spot right underneath the bridge in the middle of the Yarra River. It's a great spot for a beer or two before or after lunch or dinner. They have their own beer which is also pretty good! They don't have too much seating (a few tables and some counter bar stools along... More
