My wife and I stopped by for breakfast. Great food and excellent service. A little pricey but about average for the Melbourne cafes. We would definitely come here again.

Dropped in here for some breakfast, it's always lovely chilling in Degraves st watching the world go by. Despite us being one of the few customers that early in the morning, service was lack lustre, although the coffee was good. My toasted buffalo mozzarella and ham focaccia came out at first without ham, and after this was fixed, came out... More

Had been past here a couple of times while brunching along Degraves street, but didn't realise they were open for dinner until a few days ago. Food is fantastic, the lasagne was perfect and she he right portion size. Garlic bread was also light but delicious. Also had a slice of the chocolate hazelnut cake with ice cream - to... More

This is a tiny restaurant, we squeezed past talbles and chairs t get to our table, the staff were great, all friendly and efficiant without seeming rushed. We waited a little longer than expected for our meals and it was worth it, My Linguine Amatriciana was so nice, loved the balance of salt, oil and heat. really enjoyed as did... More

Service was great. Very friendly staff. Good value for money. Coffee was great. Big serving for my favourite breakfast. Prefect for brunch. Good choice in Laneway as there is so much to chose from. Definitely recommend

While visiting Melbourne I explored Degraves St and discovered Café Andiamo for lunch. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and revisited with a friend for dinner a couple of days later. Again the food was delicious, the staff helpful with recommendations including wine choice, indoor dining available and good value.

We had a fantastic lunch here. Great service and the food was amazing. A little noisy, but that is part of the atmosphere.

Great little cafe tucked down an alleyway. I started out with the macadamia latte, it was exquisite and delicious; one of the best lattes I've had. Subtle coffee flavor, nice sweetness and flavor from the macadamia and the milk was steamed just right for a nice creamy texture. I ordered the smoked ham and buffalo mozzarella on focaccia bread. I... More

Situated right in the hub of DeGraves lane this busy cafe beckons with a high turnover and attractive menu. We were seated in close quarters inside and service was brisk + coffee good. My disappointment, after requesting non-runny eggs for my order, commenced when the eggs ran all over the plate - I was able to eat half of a... More

I love Degraves street, it's a real buzz. This cafe is busy but fun. We had a great breakfast and they serve really good coffee. Staff excellent.

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques, throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You never quite know what you’ll find around the next corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air of Berlin in the street art, a touch of Paris in the umbrella-shaded cafes and, reminiscent of Rome, eateries tucked away in the most unlikely of places. Perhaps you might want a break and cross the Yarra River to Southbank - walk along the promenade, bask in the sun at a waterside bar and decide whether to go to the nearby casino or book a ticket at the Melbourne theatre company.
