Easily one of the best meals I have ever had. Silly to close really. Food was outstanding. The duck was to die for. That is all.

Fantastic food as always, Phillippe never fails to disappoint. Menu was a complete surprise, delicious, Kenneth's wine pairings were gourgeous. Special notes to the white chocolate ball with matcha green tea biscuit and raspberry sorbet (final course) and seared duck with duck foie gras, mango...More

We were looking for a place for dinner for a birthday (and had forgotten to make a reservation anywhere) so we wandered in and were warmly welcomed by the staff. There was a short wait for a table, but in the meantime, we sat at...More

Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff (though at another table the waiter did spill the bottle they were pouring from). Food was faultless and plates presented with pansies. Unfortunately I heard from waitress they are due to close before the end of January 2014 to make way...More

Heard they were closing. Went there on a Sunday night during the New Year weekend. Service was very friendly though brisk. We enjoyed our food and even I had the fish of the day and though Dory was not really my favourite, it was acceptable....More

We went for a new years eve meal while in Melbourne visiting family, it is superb fine dining at its best, each course was accompanied by a glass of recommended wine and I have to say the food and wine were top drawer, would definitely...More

Dining at PM 24 was a wonderful experience. Good food, generous portions; take care with the hors d’oeuvres. Eg. The rabbit rillette (which is great) is enough for 2, if you're having entrée and main. They have a fabulous wine list, sommelier Kenneth has great...More

We went for dinner on a recent trip to Melbourne. Fabulous service from French national Fabian - really enhanced the French bistro experience. My blue and goat cheese souffle was heavenly. I had the classic roast chicken, which was delicious, but had slight menu envy...More

Ate at PM24 for lunch on a fine sunny Melbourne afternoon. The food was fantastic. Starters were oysters, both Pacific and Sydney Rock Oysters. Fresh and delicious. Mains we had the braised shoulder of lamb for two - the meat fell off the bone. Finally...More

A colleague kept raving about this place, specifically the roast Chicken and I always wondered just how good can it be - it's just Chicken after all... Well, I'm converted. The rotisserie Chicken with sautéed potatoes was delicious, add a side of macaroni gratin and...More

Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways
tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary
feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the
city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques,
throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You
never quite know what you’ll find around the next
corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and
even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air

PM24, Philippe Mouchel at 24 Russell Street is a one of a kind modern French Bistro and Rotisserie. With its fresh, contemporary take on French cuisine, and modern warehouse setting with lofty ceilings, the venue is both inviting and energised. With a strong focus on ethically sourced and organic local ingredients, PM24's fare is true to Philippe's Normandy heritage but in a healthier, less fussy way for contemporary palates. At the heart of the open plan kitchen is our “piece de resistance”, a bright red rotisserie drawing out flavour from seasonal meats and vegetables. For the ultimate way to experience Philippe's cuisine, we recommend guests dine from our six course degustation menu. The procession of six individually plated dishes will take guests on a journey through Philippe’s French heritage and highlight the time he spent in Japan. Our sommelier can also devise a wine match to complement each course. The versatile space seats a maximum of 120 guests, or can accommodate up to 180 guests for a stand up cocktail party. A Private Dining Room, seating up to 35 guests is also available.
