Had the Eggs Florentine with side of avo & hash brown - nice & tasty. Service was good, and staff friendly. Coffee was OK. Crossiant was a little over greasy, but still tasty enough. I would go again.

Me and my partner Tom stopped at triim for breakfast as menu sounded pretty solid. We both ordered from the house specialties menu and we reasonably underwhelmed. Staff were friendly but food is pretty average. Just not up to the higher standard of some of the other restaurants in the area. Ok if you're looking for something quick :)

What can I say. First time to Australia, Day 6 and this is the second time I am eating Breakfast here and my 3rd visit already. The most friendly welcoming staff.. I can be a really fussy eater and very health conscious but this place would suit everybody! The food is so good and they were more than happy to... More

Visiting Melbourne with my husband, we were walking around and ended up for lunch in Hardware Lane, a nice street full of bars and restaurants. Triim attracted our attention: nice atmosphere, various plates, italian taste and very good prices. The food was delicious, the staff very nice and kind, caffé very gooood (finally!!!!) and we were really satisfied with what... More

Chose Triim as it was busy, usually a good sign and offered a reasonably priced breakfast. Chose to have a large latte but shocked to see $11.40 for two ie $5.70 each when we got the bill. Sausages on the Big Breakfast were odd, chicken maybe? Service was efficient. Food very average. Compared to other much better breakfasts I have... More

Unlike most of the cafes & restaurants in the legal district this place was actually open on a Sunday, so that was a bonus for a start. It was well populated, which is always a good sign, but the service was polite and we had our meal quickly. The food was all right and cheap enough. Typical low level Italian... More

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques, throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You never quite know what you’ll find around the next corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air of Berlin in the street art, a touch of Paris in the umbrella-shaded cafes and, reminiscent of Rome, eateries tucked away in the most unlikely of places. Perhaps you might want a break and cross the Yarra River to Southbank - walk along the promenade, bask in the sun at a waterside bar and decide whether to go to the nearby casino or book a ticket at the Melbourne theatre company.
