Perhaps Jackman and McRoss are becoming 'victims' of their own success? I was very disappointed in the coffee. No golden crema, just a grey dead look. The colour and the presentation are always a good indication of what is to come with the coffee and as predicted the taste and aroma were lacking. A disappointing coffee. The scrambled eggs wrapped... More

Good coffee food and service. Great poached eggs and Continental style breckies. Nice views from outside and has quaint village feel. Mixture of locals and tourists.

It was a great find for lunch. I had the salmon baguette (see pic). It which came with an excellent salad which was full of variety. It was almost too much to eat with plenty of salmon and spinach. Coffee and ginger beer were good. The staff could not have been nicer and although busy they were great. Their behaviour... More

It can be difficult to find a space in this popular eatery but worth it if you can get in. A good range of specialty pies and accompaniments. Not too far from Salamanca, but you're not escaping the rush by making the walk as it tends to be so busy in a relatively confined space.

Breakfast this morning consisted of Croissant with raspberry jam and butter, almond Croissant and flat whites. Beautiful flaky and crunchy croissants. Great coffee. Fast service. They have a good breakfast menu with several cakes on offer. Clean and quaint. Not overly expensive. Toilets inside.

I called in to grab a quick lunch to take away and was really pleased I did, the service was prompt, efficient and courteous. I chose a one of their gourmet pies and a mocha to go, the pie was excellent and topped with their house made relish both were delicious. The mocha was the best that I have had... More

I visited for breakfast. The coffee shop was busy and the service was attentive. The pastries all look amazing but I opted for the cooked breakfast (potato rosti with eggs) which was amazing. Highly recommended.

This place is awesome! Amazing service and attention to detail. The coffee and food was exceptional. Very, very yummy cakes and slices! I had the Lamb and Rosemary pie, and it was fantastic. I can't say a bad word about this place!
