It's yummy.... street food is a big part of Indian culinary....and must admit the guys at soup stop does a great job. Must try Pani Puri - small crispy balls filled with different fillings...Aaloo tikki chat is also highly recommended....

This place is becoming my favorite in Hobart. Delicious food. Sometimes, one have to wait a bit, but you know the dish is fresh. Dare to go spicy!

We stopped here for lunch after a trip to a very chilly Mt. Wellington. This little place was clean, warm and inviting and the aromas emanating from it were enough to make your mouth water. The service was friendly and prompt and the food (Indian street food and soups) lived up to expectation. Great food and reasonably priced.

After many hearing lots of positive reviews a small group of 4 decided to call in fo ra quick wholesome lunch on a Monday lunch time. The fit out is pleasant, nice sunny area overlooking the street, very clean and organised. We ordered a couple of dishes from the counter, plus one soup, which arrived almost immediately. There were three... More

I've been to this place a couple of times - close to my place of employment. Okay curries but the servings seem a bit stingy. Friendly service and nice atmosphere.

Soup stop is such a friendly and nice little place. I presume it is family run, and the man is very kind. They make delicious soups and snacks, all are authentically indian. They sell options that are veg. gluten free etc, so there is easily something for everyone. Such a nice place to stop into.

The Soup Stop was very cosy and the man at the counter was very friendly. It was hard to choose what we wanted but in the end I ordered a Masala Kulcha & Gravy with Mango Lassa. I was very pleased with my order. It is very cosy and warm. We ate in but I would recommend take away if... More

We found The Soup Stop near to where we were staying. The first night we shared some curries and the flavours were amazing, so much tastier than standard Indian restaurant fare. Loved it so much we came back the next night and had soup each - great value, hot and tasty. The gentleman running the shop was very polite and... More

A vibrant eating place located very close to Hobart City Centre.

We offer warm, nourishing soups, a range of traditional and contemporary Indian food, and some of the best hot and cold drinks in town.

The soup menu is truly impressive. All are hearty soups which fill the spot. They are full of natural ingredients and provide a great healthy option for any meal throughout the day.

We are also known for our tapas-style Street Food of India menu, a selection of lip-smacking roadside dishes from all corners of the subcontinent. We are excited to be the first and only place in Hobart to offer this lively genre of Indian Cuisine.

We look forward to seeing you here.
