On a recent trip to Hobart, we stumbled upon this location for brunch and caught up with visiting family. It was Anzac Day and they were short staff so I had my hesitations at first as they were the only cafe open in the area and had a constant flow of customers. To my surprise, they were timely, friendly and... More

Dome looks good but the coffee was weak, milky and came out just warm. Food wasn't that much better. Dome is in a great location but it needs to lift its game IMO

Came here looking for lunch and found the atmosphere was good but the staff was unfriendly. When the drinks came they where slammed on the table and walked away in a huff. There was a wait on the food and when the food came the soup that I got had tasted like it came out of a can and way... More

Came across the Dome while walking around Hobart looking for a breakfast, it looked nice inside, we checked the menu out, great range of breakfast food. I decided on the French Toast, wife on the fruit salad. The coffees and Chai Chill were great additions, my French toast was lovely and plentiful, my wife said her fruit salad and honey... More

One of the few places open to eat on the Regatta Public holiday. I had the vegetarian wrap and coffee and both were quite good for a franchise. The wait on the food was quite long but I was warned of that as I ordered so no worries there. Busy but pleasant.

Stopped in Hobart during a family vacation. Coming from the states with little children it is difficult at times to find a quick bite to eat. Stopped in to the cities information center and they recommended Dome as a café with food for everyone. Seemed a little pricy for a café, however there was something that everyone could find to... I attended Dome Cafe today for lunch and ordered the Ham & Eggs Benedict. The order arrived about 20 minutes later and I could tell as soon as the waitress sat the meal down that the eggs were undercooked. They wobbled on the ham and bread more than jelly on a plate. Reluctantly, I cut open the first egg and... More

Great decor but downhill from there. Ordered coffee no problem, but then waited for over 20 minutes for it to arrive only to find it was lukewarm at best and despite the double shot ordered watery. Lots of other better options around within 200 meters.
