We were really looking forward to this as our highlight dining experience so indulged in the expensive Platter for Two. It looked great when delivered to our table. Unfortunately, the marron was over cooked and "mushy". We have previously eaten wonderful marron in Western Australia.. The Calamari was tough and none of it inspired us to go back again. Very... If you have never tasted Marron this is absolutely the place to go. We took a tour through their Marron display area where you are show what happens after harvesting. This is where the Marron are washed to remove silt and mud from their wild state they are then graded by size and kept in warm filtered fresh water tanks... More

Stopped in here for a late lunch and I want to tell you that the food was amazing but it was just okay. The Marronarra need for seasoning and herbs. The prawns were dry, imported and over done as were the scallops. The half Marron was nice but would have preferred its other half. This place has so much potential but... More

After a dirt road drive for several, the restaurant was delightful. Views across the property, comfortable dining and well presented food. I had to try the baked lime and chilli marron and my wife the Mediterranean salad with Marron. Including a beer and a wine, lunch was abut $80.

Maybe we were here at the wrong time of year but the seafood platter was somewhat underwhelming, Marron was floury and whole platter not as big as expected for almost $100. We will try it again in Summer but both hope it's much better next time. The service was very good though, staff friendly and helpful and accommodating with our... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our fresh Marron lunches with nice views, friendly staff and lovely wine! The visit next door for wine tasting and looking at the Marron in their breeding tanks was fascinating!

I think there are much better places to eat on the island that offer a nice view and better service from friendly staff. The staff seemed very stressed and that makes your experience unsettling. It is quite expensive.

Excellent lunch visit. Treated ourselves to the marron platter - $92 for two. Marron, squid, prawns, scallops, 3 dressings, salad and even 4 choccie truffles to finish. Have to admit it was a struggle to finish and I had no appetite for dinner that night! Washed down with a lovely DB fr the winery next door.

We enjoyed lunch and probably would have gone back at another time but there were too many other places we had to try... More
