We did the five course tasting menu and thought it was exceptional. Everything was very well balanced and showed creativity and thoughtfulness. The service was also amazing. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back.

First night in Adelaide and a Saturday to boot. No reservation, but we thought we would try our luck at George's on Weymouth. Glad we did. Pleasant staff member found some space for us on the upper level. Would recommend the upper level as there is more space between tables and noise levels are low. On Fridays and Saturdays you... I dropped in for dinner as the menu looked nice and the reviews were great. Very classy restaurant, good wine menu, nice menu options and very professional white table class staff. I was not amazed at the food. I had the kangaroo with broccoli side and a wine to match. It was certainly very good but not quite at the... More

This restaurant is an icon in Adelaide and has been renowned for its reliable good food, excellent service and attention to detail. Essentially we received all that however I must say, do not waste your money on the degustation. We decided to go with the matching wine option and to our disappointment, quite a few of the wines were from... More

This is a very popular inner city restaurant in Adelaide. The menu is quite good and the food very tasty. The restaurant setting is functional without being excessive. Service is very good and friendly. The food is well presented and enjoyable. There is a good wine list to support the food choices. A pleasant venue but not exceptional.

I had breakfast at Georges on a weekday morning. The service was very friendly and the breakfast options, though limited, was rather interesting. My dish was a creative Chevre scrambled eggs and the flavour was very unusual. The restaurant is very poshed and the dishes are very visually attractive. It might be worthwhile to come here for lunch or dinner... More

It started well and the shared plate starter were lovely. Although we had a lovely waitress and things started well... We soon found ourselves topping up our own wine. I ordered the pork belly as i was a bit peckish and this was the suggested solution to my problem. And based on the size of the serve the table next... More

This is was a dining experience- the food was delicious, well prepared and presented. The service amazing and watching the staff go about their business is an experience in itself. All in all this is an upmarket experience without the pretentiousness. We will be back.

Birthday lunch for two and we were met by our friendly professional waiter. He was so attentive but very discreet. An extensive wine list to suit all budgets and tastes with wines from all over the world, but showcasing wines from South Australia. We had the 2010 Reschke Cabernet Sauvignon. We started with the tasting plate for two, which have... More

Georges on Waymouth was established by George & Voula Kasimatis in November 2002, with the aim of serving fresh seasonal produce with impeccable service in a classic European setting. In the heart of Adelaide's CBD, Georges on Waymouth is an undeniable crowd pleaser, continually striving for excellence amongst locals and interstate guests. The dining room is stylish and minimalist with crisp linen tablecloths, high ceilings and wooden floorboards. A distinctly Mediterranean menu takes advantage of seasonal fare with beautiful delights such as Jerusalem artichoke veloute, artichoke skins, wild mushrooms, beurre noisette. Tortellini of osso-buco, green olive gremolata, grana padano, krispy kale. Our signature dish Lamb Press, pancetta, mustard fruits, caramelised cauliflower, grilled sprouts, black sherry. Chocolate fondant, mandarin ice cream, cardamom tuile - sensational!
