Had the greatest lunch here after pulling up our hire boat from Mission Beach South. A bucket of delicious bugs, beers and some Sauv Blanc in the most spectacular surroundings. My favourite island beach bar ever!

Perfect- this place is amazing to spend the day chilling which is exactly what we did. Food was incredible and really reasonably priced... $3 dollars for water but the weekly lager special was $5.50. I have a wrap which was $10 and my friend had the beef and reef burger which was $18.50. Deff worth the bumpy ride to get... More

After wearing ourselves out with great bushwalking and snorkelling, we were absolutely ravenous. The Sunset Bar at the jetty was an excellent cure - lovely position looking back to Mission Beach, plenty of shaded seating and really friendly staff. I'd highly recommend the Corona Shell - some of the nicest, freshest prawns I've had. The guy playing Jack Johnson made... More

The most amazing fresh seafood I have ever had and so well priced for what you receive. Live music every Sunday with a chilled vibe, cold beers and huge prawns! Perfect place to spend your weekend I can't fault it

This casual outdoor bar/cafe is perfectly situated at the end of the jetty as you enter Dunk Island. It is a small cafe set up in a moveable container so that it can be relocated in the off season to avoid dangerous winds. The setting has all been created with re-purposed lumber and tree stumps creating a natural setting. On... More

Due to two massive cyclones, the resort on Dunk Island is closed, however fortunately there is still one place you can have a meal - The Jetty Cafe, which is open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. We got the water taxi across early in the morning and had a coffee, overlooking the beautiful beach - heaven! The cafe has been... More

We were pleasantly surprised with the food options offered at the cafe. Camping for two nights and three days on the island we tried most of the menu items. They all were very tasty, e.g. grilled barra, fried pepper squid or even juicy chicken burger. The best option, however, were locally caught tiger prawns served in a giant bowl of... More

I simply wish this place was on the mainland. The fresh prawns served with a couple of beers were fantastic. A friend had the fish burger which was plump, juicy, fresh and I craved it for the rest of my holiday. There might not be many options on the island but I would come to the island just for this... The Jetty Cafe serves up good honest food from their steel container. Fully licensed, Jetty Cafe has a good choice a food and drink to enjoy on the beach. With plenty of seats and covers, they provide a great place to eat and enjoy the natural beauty of dunk island. I had the salt and pepper squid, which came with... More
