Had a few meals there, always good. A nice quite spot in a busy area. Meals are good and a beer or two if so inclined.

I've been here 3 times and I'm not impressed. Best Mexican on town is a misnomer as it's the only Mexican restaurant in town. If I want Mexican I'll drive to Brisbane to enjoy it, was disappointed with the Crooked Cactus.
Love it here - great service, atmosphere and value for money! The only thing keeping me from rating 5 stars is the location - later at night some dodgy characters can hang around.
I really love the Mexican food here but the service is slow and the drinks are expensive.. It is great for a party or celebration...they do that well.

Amazing meals! They are huge so definately don't go full :-) if you love Mexican it's the place to go.... Enjoy
Have dined at the crooked cactus a number of times and we are never disappointed. Ideal for that quick dinner or for a birthday celebration. The kids love the large sombreros that they are given to wear when it is there birthday..
From the outside this restaurant looks like a bit of a dive but once you walk through the door it is wonderful. We regularly visit this restaurant and the food is always great. The marguerita menu is extensive. Make sure you book a table though...More
