We celebrated our 3 year anniversary here last night. The service from Nicolo was fantastic, and the food was to die for. Strongly recommend the seafood options! Best dining experience in Port Douglas we have had on our holiday.

Great bar and Restaurant. The guys introduced me to Campari, which I now love. Welcomed us and our dog. Very pleasant location with indoor and outdoor seating.

The food is outstanding here and the service is fantastic. Have come back to this restaurant every time we have visited Port Douglas and the food has never failed deliver. I'm also a sucker for their mango creme brûlée it's amazing.

Went here 3 times in the two weeks we were in Port Douglas. First visit did order entree but there was some mix up with our meal so they gave us a complimentary entree of tuna. Now I do not eat much seafood and my husband does not eat tuna. As the dish was complementary thought we would do the... More

We enjoyed an air conditioned Italian dining experience with Nickoli as our server. He delivered a rose and his special attention from the very beginning. Cocktails and Wine were the best experienced in Australia. Our seafood dinners were fresh and delishious. The service was exceptional. Do not forego the desert menu!

Whether it's just cocktails, pizza from the bar or a scrumptious Italian Dinner, Sassi Cucina is a must. Situated on the corner of Macrossan & Wharf streets in Port, the Alfresco dining area affords a fantastic view across Dixon Inlet to the Tablelands and mountains to the north. Tonight we both chose the Veal Cutlet and it was delicious!

We had some nice Italian seafood here, The seafood with angel-hair pasta was good, but not the best, but the seared tuna was excellent.

Perfect setting perfect service and the food exceeded our expectations. We had the squid ink pasta AGLIATELLE NERO CON GAMBERI which was seasoned to perfection no extra salt or pepper needed. The chef has his seasonings 100% correct. For desert we couldn't over look the Tiramisu it was heaven on a plate the best we have ever had and we... More

The interior design is nice but nothing special. The food was not tasty but pricey. Too tiny oysters, too spicy pasta and the tasteless grilled veggies. The whitebait were nice. The service is not that good as the other restaurants in Port Dogulas.

Great family dinner- wonderful kids' bolognese. Salmon carpaccio was amazing as were the special crumbed scallops on the shell. Squid ink tagliatelle with prawns was rich and delicious, and we fought over the molten chocolate pudding with vanilla gelato. Tiramisu was a little bitter. Very good selection of reasonably priced wine. Thanks Sassi, we'll be back!
