Had a plain pie and the pastry was great but the filling lacked flavour and the chunky bits of meat in the feeling tasted old and yuk wasn't a fan at all

Best meat pies I tasted while in Australia! The Curry Beef and the Crocodile were fantastic. Service was great, but it gets BUSY in the morning, so get there EARLY.

Have a nice lunch here, the pies were fresh & the pre made rolls & sandwiches lovely & tasty. You can try the native pies as a sampler as well if you are up for it!

This is the best way to try some Australian meat. The Kangaroo pie was delicious- tasted just like a beef stew in a flaky pastry. Croc was too fishy for our tastes. Also lamb and breakfast pies - yum!

They always have fresh pies and many different kinds. The pastry was awesome. We had pies from here twice and both times they were very good.

My wife and I stoped here late in the afternoon to get a late lunch, I had the supreme and she had the steak and onion. Both were amazing and among the best pies we had eaten. Very very highly recommended.

Hot, and presumably cold, pies. Huge choice. We had a pepper steak pie and it was very good. Loads of meat, and excellent pastry. They also do breads; we had some at a breakfast place a few yards up, and that was delicious.

Very pleasant to sit here on the outside pavement and watch the world go by whilst enjoying an excellent and tasty pie.

We were served by Nigel who reluctantly helped me choose the Cornish Pasty over the Lamb pie, two of his favorites. The crust was flaky like no American pie crust, enclosing a perfectly balanced mixture of beef, potatoes, and veg. We also had the Crocodile (tastes like chicken), Spinach feta, Lamb pie and a tasty Greek salad. Sadly, no room... More

Re-opening of an iconic Port Douglas pie shop which closed for some years recently. Was possibly the best known pie shop in Australia due to the unique meat pie filling recipe. Now re-opened by Nigel Quinn using the original and still secret pie filling recipe formulated by Mocka Cheyne and his mother Belle Cheyne.
