Great food in a beautiful town. The service was wonderful with our outstanding waiter whose name I should remember ( but I’m forgetful). I love tapas and this certainly didn’t disappoint, all of the tasty morsels we had were delicious. The paella dishes served to...other tables had my husband deciding that next time he would have paella, considering I have never yet been able to talk him into paella in 30 years this is saying something.More

We had the special lunch menu and it was fantastic. The entree was flash fried calamari which was really tasty. The mains was local reef fish and chips which also was awesome. The ruby snapper is a very tasty fish. I’d recommend lunch at bel...cibo to anyone who is looking for a nice seafood lunch. Great value for money. We got a very friendly waitress and the service was quick and efficient.More

The restaurant is on the first floor of the building with a deck overlooking the main street; great for people watching. The scallop and the calamari starters are very tasty and the King prawns main and the Lamb backstrap main are both generous portions; my...plate had 2 well cooked backstraps on it . For dessert the dessert platter is a must to share. The staff are very helpful and friendly but once the restaurant became busy there just weren't enough of them so service became a little slow.More

This venue serve excellent dishes and the service by friendly staff is a privilege in this touristic town. This is one of our many visit to Bel Cibo and we loved it.It can be quite hot if you seat on the outdoor tables but it's part...of the deal here in Port Douglas. We had pizzas, salmon, and pastas all perfectly executed. The table are well dressed and the lighting give a nice atmosphere. We can say again that it was a no brainer, could not fault it!More

Great food. Special mention Home made pasta marinara and the veal scalopini. The floor staff were prompt and courteous and were very familiarised with the menu.

The food was delicious , pasta and desserts . Unfortunately service not great due to inexperienced waitress. The restaurant was busy, and plenty of staff serving , I think we were just unlucky .

Authentic Italian food. Restaurant could have more of an experience and atmosphere to it. Service was quite good. Missing something but we would go back as it was still a great night and had good food. The veal was wonderful.

Have enjoyed this restaurant at the top of our list each visit to PD. Wow. Something has changed. Such a terrible restaurant experience. This was high end ...$40 + per plate. Service terrible. Entree didn't arrive. I got a meal I didn't order. Husbands had...mussels that didn't open. Escalated above our clueless waitress. Next person was defensive and argumentative. Maybe she was having a bad day. Woman swooped our plates and told us to leave!!! I think it must have changed hands. Never again.More

This is a very strange review. You say you have been many times before yet I notice this is your first review, only the negative. Thank you.We do not have anything on the menu that's $40+per plate, our most expensive meals are $38 so I...More
