You really feel the Balinese atmosphere in the food and services as well as the ambiance of the establishment. Perfect for a quiet, romantic evening

Loved the atmosphere, very balinese style, the portion of the food was average for the price but the flavour and sauce are very similar to what we have in Bali before. Definitely coming back for our second meal.

This nicely decorated space was overflowing on the Wednesday we went.People were being turned away. The mixed satay was indeed to die for..the duck curry's and tsofus curries as well.A bit out of the city but still a nice walk if you feel like one.

I found this place by accident, after arriving into Cairns, this restaurant was just down the road from my accomodation. So popped in for a late Sunday dinner, Service, food and atmosphere were on point.. definitely coming back to this Balinese culinary paradise.

Description
Bayleaf Balinese Restaurant has been a well loved and highly regarded restaurant in Cairns for many years, serving authentic Balinese cuisine. This multi award winning restaurant offers a true dining experience. Head Chef Made Upadana was trained in Bali at the highly regarded bumbu bali restaurant and cooking school and worked along side Heinz von Holzen the master chef and respected food writer of the Balinese Cuisine. Our signature banquet menu the Balinese Rijsttafel offers a feast of flavours and is highly recommended.
