I had dinner and some drinks with my friends. It was really nice. The food is good and the atmosphere as well. Good for a dinner night out while in cute and tiny little Cairns.

Service is good and food is great value. Very focused on the backpackers with good deals on food and drink.

We went for dinner and had vouchers to get it for $9. There were selected things you were allowed to order but the choice was pretty good. The portion sizes were what you would expect in a pub and we got a drink added in. The food itself was very good.

Didn't get there for dinner service after 1700 but the beer was ice cold and the bar menu wings were awesome! Price/value very good, super nice staff and bar tenders.

Everywhere I travel, there is some form of Irish bar. They seldom remind me of any bars back home in Ireland. As a bar in its own right, it's pretty decent. They do lovely food with a great $9 meal deal (you need a voucher from your hostel, which most seemed to have) that includes a free drink - ideal... More

The pub had a nice interior and atmosphere with friendly staff. The meal deals were large and at a reasonable price, and included a drink. I would have given 5 stars if the meal was brought to our table instead of us having to collect it.

Irish theme perhaps, but Guinness alone, as the single Irish beer on tap, does not make the place an Irish Pub the way they claim. Food is ordinary; cafeteria quality at best. Too much focus on tourists/groups with vouchers for special deals. Locals, who patronise the place all year round are second class citizens to tourists.

If you want a great feed, drink etc - look for the local Irish Pub. We found PJ's by accident - loved it from the "attractive" staff, the excellent service, the great value fish & chips and last (but certainly not least) the choice of beers on tap. Daily specials even include a free"pot" (beer that is)! Down to earth... More

Ate here one evening while in Cairns. As is generally the case the staff was extremely friendly. They have a nice selection of beers. The way it works is you decide what you want to eat and then go to the food service area and order. You are then notified when the food is ready. We had the braised lamb... More

Ate here the three nights we stayed in Cairns. Good food, great staff, can be noisy as always busy. Varied menu.
