Arriving in Cairns tired and needing a no hassle decent food, Ricardo's was just the ticket. Very good spinach and ricotta ravioli in avacado/shallot cream sauce, decent pizza, cold beer. Job done

The pizzas (though a bit on the pricey side) are excellent, but the ciabatta bread we ordered for our starter was definitely NOT ciabatta. It was cheap and not tasty; quite a disappointment. Go here for the pizza, but pass on the starters.

Staying at a motel quite close we, a mature couple travelling around Australia, decided to give it a try. We received a friendly greeting on arrival and were offered inside or outside. We chose inside because outside would have been adjacent to a main road....More
Cute little neighborhood place. Attentive, friendly wait staff. The salad was substantial, greens fresh and lightly dressed. The chicken Parmesan was another story. The sauce was too sweet, lacked flavor and was devoid of seasoning. Hopefully it was just a bad night in the kitchen.
I've tried every Italian restaurant i can find in cairns but this one stands out. The service and the meals are second to none.
Had a quick and easy pizza dinner with my son in this bustling little place. Friendly restaurant with an authentic Italian style to it. We only ordered one pizza between us which was delivered quickly with a cheery "Buon Appetito" from the friendly waiter.
The food and the decor is straight out of 1979, but there’s nothing wrong with that! The service is fantastic and hospitable, the meals arrived amazingly quickly, and were all delicious. I would definitely go back here if staying in Cairns again.
