We visit this restaurant weekly now...I know...we have a problem haha! I got home late from work one day and didn't feel like cooking or going out so we ordered takeaway for a change. Food was still absolutely perfect, servings are HUGE (you better be hungry!) I really cannot rave about this place any more, if you want authentic food... More

The food was average, I had the marinara but I must say it's not worth $25. My partner had the lasagna, it was just one small piece without sides, $20. Will not being going back.

I have be going to Zio Marios for over 20 years and it's always perfect. The pizzas are very traditional and the crust is nice and cripy. Its our family favourite!!

Salmon pasta is great, the pizzas are delicious, the salads are crisp and generous, the beers are cold... what more is required. This restaurant has bee inthe same location for years n years, the menu rarely changes, but it works. Service is fast and friendly

Although my wife and I dine at Zio Mario's regularly and the menu remains relatively static, there always seems to be something a little bit more special about each visit. A relatively recent innovation is a choice of 5 different pasta dishes with various sauces. They come as a main meal only but there's no problem if you want to... More

A lazy Saturday evening, a bit peckish, lets try that Italian place at East Brisbane. Basic, very noisy inside, every second word from the lady who ran it was "love", yes love, ok love, and we did. Now any place can have an off night but this night was good. Simple, hearty Italian fare that took me back 30 years.... More

We go here fortnightly since discovering this little gem. The food is like Nonna made. Pasta is outstanding, staff are good fun and knowledgeable....and they remember you which is always a good thing in my book. I often recommend this place if you are wanting good Italian food.

We are locals and eat at Zio Marios occasionally and often get takeaway. The service is sometimes friendly and they do not cater for children when you dine in so we generally go with the takeaway option. The pasta is delicious and the pizzas are alwas cooked to perfection. I highly recommend the Capricosa and the Ham and Pineapple Pizzas.

This layed back restaurant provides delicious home style Italian food. The arancini balls are so good. I personally love the pasta, but the pizzas are good too with different sizes available. Worth a try.
