This is a great little place for a quick bite of sushi or a more substantial meal. Friendly staff and quick service make this the ideal place to visit with your partner, famil, or friends.

Hamilton Portside review: we had dined there about 5 times but noticed some bugs flying around our wine on the last few occasions. Brought to the attention of staff. My wife actually caught an killed a few. Meals have been good but have to say last time food was very dry. We live right in the area. Will be a... More

This sushi bar and train looks impressive with a large room tastefully furnished. However it is disappointing that the offerings are pretty ordinary on the sushi train with little to excite the palate. I found that I had to order prawn dumplings from the main menu to get something tasty. Perhaps the main menu is more exciting. I was surprised... More

I love Unagi Don (Eel on the top of rice) but this one was poor quality and.so disappointed. Other food were so so, just like fast food. Only Japanese curry was not bad. Cheap price so I can't expect too much but still need a little better ....

Very blend and tasteless. Paying too much for poor quality sushi. Disappointed nothing fine dining about this place expect for the atmosphere. Reduce your prices if your going to serve sushi like that.

Food is average but prices are way to high and Miso soup should always be free in Japanese restaurants. Service was pretty close to hopeless. Try elsewhere if possible.

Seriously disappointing! As a resident of Portside I frequent Ginga at least twice weekly, it's very disappointing how the food and service have deteriorated!! Last night I was reprimanded for sitting down in a section of the restaurant that was closed... It's a sushi train at 8pm on a Thursday night! The food was slow, poor quality, vegetable tempura undercooked... More

Never had a bad experience at this restaurant. The waiters and waitresses are always attentive and helpful. We had 7 people at our table and ordered a variety of meals. The food was brought out somewhat slowly (such as beef meals being brought earlier than the chicken ones), but the food was all hot and delicious. The drinks menu does... More

the fish is not bad, but you may find so much better quality downtown that it does not make any sense going here to eat. Even the prices are a little bit too high. And it is right the next door of the Event cinemas so the stink of popcorn enters the restaurant while you are eating.
