I visited Gerards bistro last night with friends. The food was amazing!! It's hard to choose my favorite dish, but the lamb was delicious!! Our waiter was very helpful, giving great tips on what to eat, and which dishes went together... We ordered several dishes...More

Visited as part of the Bite Sip Stroll event - modern restaurant, clear bright windows, open feel atmosphere restaurant. Well organised, groups seated quickly, served a lamb entree and matching wine. Well presented and delicious food. Quick service. Highly recommend.

Beautiful meal I had the pork dish which was cooked really well and succulent. Great service and good atmosphere. Didn't end up having dessert but dinner was excellent.

Table of four was perfect for sharing dishes and our mains of beef brisket, lamb and cauliflower were excellent. My favourite was the lamb but the beef and the cauliflower were great too. Dessert was also delicious and different. The entrees were less interesting. We...More

Husband had read the reviews and thought it sounded good. Good doesn't begin to describe. From the seating, the attentive knowledgeable staff, the quirky napkins and the music all just set the scene for an amazing, adventurous menu of sharing plates. If the menu had...More

This is not a place I would choose to dine as soon as I hear "James Street" I want to avoid at all costs based on past dining experience in this area. I feel people only eat here to impress or have the need to...More

I don't attempt to answer on their behalf but my partners meal seemed gluten free, but I'm sure they can accomodate.
