Great range of ramen dishes. For ramen lovers! A little hard to find up the escalators in an office building, geared to lunch trade. Worth a visit after work or for a quick dinner after sight seeing.

This is by far the best ramen I am yet to have in Brisbane. I count myself as a regular at the Ascot and George St Taro's. If you love ramen, this is the place for you. It is authentic and relatively cheap. Team it up with an Asahi beer and you're in noodle heaven.

We arrived at the late end of lunch service with a few stragglers still eating and ordering big bowls of noodles. The ordering was a simple do it yourself from the screen affair, with photos of dishes making for easier ordering . The soup was great , the dumplings good , the pig cheeks really tasty . It is a... Very good and cheap food. A bit out of the way. Good spot for students. The service was good and the food cooked fresh. Very enjoyable

Never mind about ramen, I like their ramen, however my favourite is Spicy Cold Tofu and a bowl of rice with spring onion and egg. For the taste and give energy this is quite amazing dish, not to mention only cost approx. $4. The spicy cold tofu $6. The freshness of the dishes can not bit that, also delicious. Apart... More

The ramen here is to die for. Don't expect much as far as service goes though but the quality of food is excellent.

Taros Ramen tonkotsu Nice creamy pork soup for Australian made ramen it's not bad. Eaten here 4 times now My only negatives are never get much soup and soup is never really hot! Always warm! Also getting your kaidama ( extra noodles) at the same time as getting the soup is just lazy! And not good! Considering this is not... More

Since this place moved from 363 Adelaide Street into 480 Queen Street (and opened a couple more outlets) the quality has simply nosedived! This used to be THE go-to place for ramen in the Brisbane CBD with generous serves of very high quality ramen. We went last week for dinner and were extremely disappointed with the dismal serves, poor quality... More

We just left Tarps on racecourse road. It was packed so we thought it would be good. The dumplings were ok but the pork cheek with rice was tasteless and so was the noodles and vegetables. It was just noodles with the occasional piece of boring non descript vegetable. We left without eating much at all. I love Brisbane but... More
