We love our asian food and this new restaurant is a winner. Malaysian style food which is a beautiful mix of various asian styles, and maybe some of their own. We have been twice now and feel they deserve a review. The food is a five, we just wish they were licensed. So far we rate the entrees, crispy generous... More

Ipoh Laksa has now moved to 1/333 Gympie Road, Strathpine which is fantastic for me. Definitely a restaurant I will regularly dine at. The service was exceptional and the food was exactly as I'd experienced in Malaysia. Prices and serving sizes are very good.

I am picky on the food I take hence it might be hard for the restaurant to prepare something for the Chinese Buddhists since there will be no Garlic nor any types of Onion. The Gado Gado is nice and tasty I felt and so is the Vegie Spring Roll. Others, not sure.

We only went there for takeaway because the view from out apartment balcony was so good we didn't want to leave it. Our food was great and one of the yummiest nasi gorengs I've had.

People were nice, service was swift. But, I'd find it difficult to call the food authentic. Looks like it is changed to local palate. & $3 corkage per glass is not acceptable.

Great choice of food and flavours. You can ask for your own level of spiciness. Staff are friendly and helpful and service is quick.

Lunched at Ipoh Laksa in Kangaroo Point, Brisbane on 18th May 2015. The restaurant seemed to have shrunk in size since we last visited it several years ago. The furniture and decor seemed somewhat Spartan. The car park was chock-a-block but the restaurant seemed devoid of patrons that noontime. We parked on the roadside some distance away. The service was... More

Had dinner on a Friday night, The entree of beef satay were just like you get in Kuala Lumpur. Main course was Nasi Lemak, again just like a traditional Malay meal. Wish I could have gone back to try more of the menu.
