We wanted an authentic Japanese restaurant and chose Sake and booked a hotel nearby, within walking distance. Everything depended on this restaurant! It filled every expectation - the food was exceptional, the service was discreet, polite, knowledgeable, and quick. We drank sake, warmed in small pottery bowls. Everything was perfect - can't recommend this restaurant highly enough: food, presentation, service...... More

We were very lucky to get a booking at Sake on a Saturday night. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left everything was amazing! We got to sit overlooking the kitchen and could see the amazing chefs cooking and making everything and seeing every dish come out. The food was some of the best we have ever... More

After plenty of years living in Dubai, I've been lucky enough to try some good tucker in equally good surrounds. Sake is up there with some of the best places I've visited. The interior, decor and exciting food and wine combine to present what I consider to be the best food experience I have had (now on multiple occasions) in... More

A business lunch with colleagues. It was a beautiful day and we were interested in sushi down by the water. Stumbled across this restaurant and we were not disappointed. From the moment we stepped inside we were warmly received. The server helped us with our order as we were not sure how much to order for three people. (It's family... More

Went to sake on the 8th May Sake were great accomodating considering we did not book - but from there it went down hill - they sat 5 of us out the front near the bar which is fine - we ordered some meals to share - we had them arrive 10 minutes later after our drinks :( all placed... More

We went to celebrate a birthday last night and was some what disappointed. For a hefty price tag$370 for two adults and two teenagers the food failed to impress. We had the set menu at $88pp, though some dishes were great a majority of the meal failed to 'wow' us. We kept getting told spicy this and spicy that but... More

Came here without a reservation on a Friday night and was immediately taken care of by Steve and staff. Great Japanese contemporary experience that even our 12 year old (and picky) daughter liked. Would definitely recommend this to anyone liking Japanese!!

Great restaurant for people with food allergies lots of options for coeliac disease. Great variety of seating options and very atmospheric. Great menu selections, fantastic wait staff and delicious food. Only downside that makes it a special occasion restaurant is the expense of the food and the alcohol.

We recently dined here with a medium sized group and we ordered dishes to share. Everyone loved all the dishes from memory. The food was well presented, beautifully fresh and tasty and healthy! Providing you don't opt for tempura that is... But tempura is a must on the menu! The menu was very good and varied without being over the... More

Thanks for the great service and wonderful food Scott, Alex and Dana. Always a pleasure to dine at Sake. This is my first visit to Sake Brisbane after having enjoyed the restaurant at Hamer Hall in Melbourne. I wasn't disappointed.
