We arrived here after a Work Management dinner, there was a group of 15 of us they accommodated with no dramas.. this is a great venue with different areas to sit. They only problem was the putting on a bar tab as the Barmen had no idea how to do it & had to wait a bit of time for... More

I have been to the Royal George Hotel several times when I've visited Brisbane but never eaten there. However I couldn't resist the lure of $6 lunch of barramundi, chips and coleslaw. My husband ordered the $6 steak which also came with chips and coleslaw. My meal was very good - two pieces of very tasty battered fish, a delicious... More

We decided to head up to this area to check it out but were sadly disappointed with the area generally (and Chinatown in particular), however we had a great traditional Brekky of bacon, eggs, sausages, beans etc at this place. Good friendly service. Some unusual "people watching" of the various characters going about their business as we sat outside (undercover)... More

Just when I think Brisbane hospitality is starting to improve, a venue slaps me back to reality. A half hour to kill so I enter the RG, purchase a Queensland mid-strength beer then sit down at a gaming machine to try my luck with a few bucks change. I remember I need to answer a text message so I begin... More

Honestly if you are looking for a cheap spot to get a delicious breakfast that would cost more everywhere else this is it! On top of that you get the benefit of the interesting types that frequent the fortitude valley mall especially if you are there early as they are finishing their nights out - love this place! PS -... We didn't even make it to the bar to order. The bouncers refused us entry because my partner didn't have appropriate footwear, which was understandable, so we went away and he put on decent black shoes, and then came back. The bouncer seemed overly concerned with where we had got the shoes from, as if it would be unheard of... More

Visited here with a few friends for a few hours on a Saturday arvo, the food was good and the staff friendl, they had someone on a guitar who sang quite well too the only downside was the price of the drinks! they charge nightclub prices in the afternoon!

I came here with the intention of trying it out before a 21st. I am new to Brisbane and didn't realise what an awful place I had come to! The staff, particularly a girl with blond hair and black glasses, were very rude! She swore at me and told the other staff not to let me charge my phone which... More

Best chicken parmy here, and a good price as well. location is average as there are a few seedy characters that get in and out of the place so not sure if you want to bring the rellies here for a nice gathering but for a quick cheap and great pub feed this place is the go.
