Moorish Cafe is our absolute favourite place to eat whenever we visit Darwin, so it was a no brainer that we booked here for our baby's 1st birthday meal. The staff are all so attentive, and our little boy was given plenty of attention! The food was incredible as always- the chicken liver pate being a fave of our boy!... More

The lunch special (3 dishes and a drink) is good value for $25. The food is very tasty and is quite a good range to pick from. I always enjoy going there for lunch.

Came here on a recommendation from friends. Staff were very lovely but the atmosphere was a bit off - very loud, odd seating and the food over seasoned/oily. Will try again in case I got them on a bad night but there are just as great if not better tapas places elsewhere.

We went for dinner at Moorish before a show on Friday night. We decided to go with a few Tapas dishes each. We went with Grilled Pork Belly, Scallops, Oven Roasted Feta, Local Jew Fish, Zucchini Fritters and Berber Spiced Kangaroo, they were all delicious. Staff were pleasant and helpful. I look forward to my next visit.

Having read positive reviews we had dinner here on a Saturday during our weekend stay in Darwin (from Sydney). Without sounding rude, this place is terrible, even for Darwin standards. The food was either cold, tasteless, of poor quality or poorly cooked. Avoid this place if you want a good meal.

We were in Darwin for the Qantas Australian Tourism Awards and four of us spent a fabulous afternoon having lunch at the Moorish Cafe after flying in from Adelaide. The Tapas was amazing - especially the warm feta, fried chorizo and the white anchovies with capers and red capsicum. Great coffee too. The service was professional, friendly and attentive. Would... If I am ever in Darwin. I will come here. the food is wonderful. We had the morocco tapas style food. Amazing. Great selection of wines and beers. Atmosphere is lively, not a greatt place if wanting quiet. Down side was that at times service was not quick enough. Manager apologised and threw in coffees.

The Tapas are not typically Spanish but Australian-Morrocan! Service is rather patronising and disjointed.Disappointing after reading good reviews on trip advisor

Moorish Café is an unassuming wee place from the outside but let me tell you that the magic happens inside. The tapas are extremely moorish (pardon the pun) and a fantastic way to share all the different dishes amongst friends. The atmosphere is always up beat and buzzing. If you find yourself in Darwin and looking for a place to... More

Ordered 5 things off the tapas menu. I enjoyed one, The prawns were good & creamy. The lamb was plain with a mild spicy sauce. Pork was meh. Pita bread and some sort basil & garlic sort of potato dip was boring. Cuttlefish sauce wasn't to my pallet. I ordered cider and received the wrong on. To their credit they... More
