The ribs are done properly, as are the wings. The owner/chef takes his time preparing them, with a dry rub, then marinating, then slow cooking, with the end result being ribs that are not to be surpassed.

Whenever I feel like pasta I head here, the gnocchi is a winner. While the look of the place can be deceiving, it is certainly not the fanciest place in Darwin, the pasta is always great and the portions are huge.

For breakfast I ordered scrambled eggs with toast and an extra tomatoe. I was served a folded tasteless eggs concoction, with small thick pieces of white bread barely toasted and a very raw tomatoe. In an attempt to improve the flavour of the eggs I tried to add some salt from the salt shakers. No salt came out from the... More

Had been keen on giving the Wednesday special a go for some time - buy one pound of wings, get one free. After quite a long wait I took my dinner home just down the road. While the chips were fabulous (though the $5 portion tiny) I was a bit disappointed to get home and find everything slapped into the... More

Staying in an adjacent hotel in central Darwin and this licensed cafe recommended by hotel staff and locals. Good location and great cafe style menu. Staff friendly and efficient and the quality and quantity of meals was from cut above what might have been expected of this type of venue. Price range also good and a suitable range of wine... More

A good range of food and drinks, and a courteous, gregarious ex-Canadian host who takes his responsibilities for quality food and beverages seriously.

Great location with a vast selection of pizzas, pasta, burgers and seafood. Good prices and fast service. It had the feeling of busy customers, having a quick but healthy (some of it!) meal on their way out for the night. Not fast food and not a romantic location, more of a convenience stop with a buzzing atmosphere. Great customer service... More

We went here for lunch and it was ok. The food arrived quickly with big servings but it wasn't fantastic. There were so many items on the menu it made you think how could they do all these foods fresh & well? The service was nice and attentive. The food was not horrible but did not excite me to want...
