Loved the casual relaxed atmosphere of being able to cook our own meat. There is an "Aussie pack" that includes kangaroo, emu & crocodile for the overseas tourists keen to try this delicacy.

Good burger and chips, nice beers and ciders on tap. Prob wouldn't be there on new year's eve agaon by choice as a but backpacker-ridden but otherwise good pub food.

Very relaxing bar and good service. Can sit back and listen to great Aussie music and enjoy a game of pool whilst having a beer, and the kids are welcome, we can even buy a pizza.

Alex, the man who served us was so friendly and gives the place a great atmosphere! He alone would bring me back.

We visited here 20 years ago and everything has changed except for the buildings which should've changed or at least up kept. One largish bar lady gave horrendously bad service to international tourists and was so surly she could curdle a soy cappuccino! Put us off completely so we decided to have dinner elsewhere. Very disappointing because when we were... More

As we were at Uluru throughout the Xmas 2016 period, when it flooded, as all tours etc cancelled. We caught the resort bus around the resort & went to the pioneer bar for a bit of fun and relaxation. A lot of younger people there, so it was good to talk & interact, with a different demographic of people -... More

While the food was overpriced and not that great, the experience of cooking on the "barby" in the Australian Outback is a fun bragging right. The bar was only allowing one drink per person per day and required your room number to even order. While those are not necessarily bad policies, the delivery of the news was delivered rudely. Wish... More

Went with the intention of having a drink and light lunch. Notice on bar said only able to serve each customer one drink, not sure if this is the norm or because they were having problems with the tills.Thirty minute wait at the fast food bar so didn't have food. I think this is the cheaper end of the market... More

The whole of Yulara is expensive anyway! Great service, prompt and friendly. Pizza was good too, plenty of toppings. Ate here a few times, recommended for a quick eat.

Its just a pub with pub food, it's good, you buy uncooked meat (chicken, steak, crocodile, kangaroo, prawns) cook it yourself and add salad. Not fancy just a relaxed place, with people from all over the world, nice atmosphere. The prawns were tiny for Australian prawns.

Thank Craig W
