i've been to this restaurant a few times with friends. Not all patrons can see the beautiful view of the harbour bridge, it depends on where you are sitting. better try to get a seat next to the windows or if it's during summer, get...More

We finally dined at Cafe Sydney for my birthday after years of wanting to come here. The restaurant has an amazing view of Sydney harbour and even those with their back to the view didn’t miss out due to the cleverly placed mirrors that reflected...More

We had a table at the front of the balcony with great views of the Harbour Bridge. That was the icing on the cake of a fantastic meal. My wife had a salad, crispy and fresh. I had Gazpacho, well prepared and gently seasoned. As...More

Interesting location in the Customs House. Swanky bar waiting area with both indoor and outdoor seating. Strong seafood choices and good wine selections. A bit noisy and seating is close.

This used to be one of our 'go to' places in Sydney, lovely views and great food. However our last visit in January, as part of a group, was really not that good. The service was bloody awful, with a rude waiter. Some of the...More

I've been everywhere, man - Aria, Bennelong, Tetsuya etc, and that's just in Sydney. But nothing beats Cafe Sydney for service, food, and ambience. If you get a table on the balcony on a pleasant Sydney evening it's the best seat in town. You can...More

First visit to Australia, and Sidney. And what a place to start my trip. Fabulous restaurant with fantastic view, superb service and the food was to die for. Now i need to find a place like that back in England!

Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with
energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise
buildings and after-work drink places, high-end
shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners
frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a
dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit
the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle,
reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens
