Special because we were catching up with good friends after a long time and the restaurant was part of the enjoyment. A beautiful setting by the water with a balanced menu, attentive staff and interesting wine list. Varied clientele, romantic couples, friends and larger groups....More

Friday lunch for four. Peaceful location out of the city bustle. Window table with a great view. Wonderful dishes and wine. Unobtrusive but attentive service. Snapper pie was amazing. Top spot, thanks Boathouse team.

Went here for dinner. They gave us a window seat noticing it was a special occassion I had the snapper pie which is amazing. I'd go here again just for this. The service was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed the dining experience.

We recently went to the Boathouse for a business dinner. Pleasantly surprised at this hidden restaurant. Very nice fresh food accompanied by good service. We had the set menu, but cant wait to go back to test out the full menu.

A nice spot overlooking the water in Glebe. We had the sashimi to start and the snapper pie for main course which was very good and the service was on point too. A good wine list and an all round good experience. Will return.

We did not have great expectations but were hoping it will be a good one. Well I must admit that it suprised us. They know how to prepare fish and seafood. All of our mains were close to outstanding with beautifully well put together flavors....More

Dinner with overseas friends was most enjoyable. We had a table by the window with intoxicating views of Anzac Bridge and the Sydney City. The view changed as the sun set and City lights came on, providing the drama. I was impressed with no less...More

Yes the food, views, wine, service and ambience were amazing. We would definitely go back ... Except not being able to take home leftovers at $50 a main doesn't exactly demonstrate much concern towards sustainability. Throw it all away.

It's a nice place but I didn't find it pretentious. You would be equally comfortable and at ease in suit and tie or nice jeans. Personally I went in suit with no tie.
