On each visit to Sydney we have lunch or dinner here at least once. Today we had a superb lunch with friends and spent over three hours enjoying the excellent food and the wonderful harbour view. We could not find fault with either the amazing seafood platter, with extra oysters, or the beautifully cooked barramundi. Service was prompt and discreet.... More

A peaceful mid-afternoon lunch with great seafood. A bit pricier than most $$-$$$ restaurants on tripadvisor especially with 15% weekend surcharge but we felt it was worth it. Service very good. Great wine list. Seafood platters and starters both fantastic.

This must be the fifth time my wife and I have been to this restaurant. It was a Friday night and the Quay area was packed with people. Diners were lining up for a table but luckily my wife had booked a table. On such a busy night the staff handled the crowd with efficient ease and charm. No bad... More

Located on circular quay, about 400 metres from the Opera House, opposite the cruise ship mooring. We had 3 different types of rock oyster, all tasting different but all lovely. The Canadian scallop was huge, a bit pricey, but beautifully cooked and really nice. Finally we also had tuna tartare; lovely spice and leaving you wanting more. Service was fantastic... More

What a great experience to enjoy dinner in the shadows of both the Sydney Opera House and the Harbor Bridge!!! The food was fantastic and the selection of Oysters simply unbeatable. However, we enjoyed the barramundi and non oyster eating diners should not be concerned!

Table right beside the water looking directly at a huge cruise ship, Ovation of the Seas and then to her right the wonderful Sydney Harbour Bridge. Prawns huge and delicious. Four different types of oysters from different locations also delicious. Staff very efficient and friendly. Main meal of Beer Battered Fish was a little overcooked. Only criticism. Large meal though,... More

My wife and I stopped here on a very hot day after walking the botanic gardens. It was crowded but we managed to get a seat. In the afternoon, it is key to get a table with an umbrella as the patio gets very hot when the sun is beating down. The beers were served quickly and were super cold.... More

Located at the circular quay, this restaurant has a great view with fantastic food to match. For lunch we ordered seared scallops, steamed clams and pippis, pan fried salmon and grilled swordfish, which were all cooked well and served with complimenting sides. It was quite pricey but the food was worth it

Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
