Great croissant (was fresh and extremely tasty). Great apple juice (was not from a bottle as was cloudy as if fresh squeezed). Great Macchiato. Enough said!

Brilliant location and obviously popular. I had a tiramisu with an orange base. The portion size was definitely not generous and personally I’m not a fan of the orange but the tiramisu pastry was good nonetheless.

I had the pitaschio tarts and it was marvelous! Sitting al fresco and enjoying the cool breeze and sunshine, a perfect morning escapade!

Ok. I will never look at another cheese croissant the same again. This was like a good croque meets croissant w melted cheese. Do not hesitate to order this! Soft delicious Center but still good croissant crunch. Divine.

Tried the pain au chocolat, sausage croissant, danish custard filling and the cakes (monet, goya and vivaldi) and everything tasted great! The latte was good too. Highly recommended.

I can’t recommend a bakery more highly. Each croissant is crispy and soft, and every coffee delicious.

I had just arrived in Sydney after a long flight. I arrived here for a quick coffee and pastry. Highly recommend coming here and buy as much as you can.

The Rocks
The first residents of the Rocks were convicts and

buildings, including the oldest house in Sydney,
Camden Cottage, which was built in 1816. Taste a “midi
“ or a “schooner” of beer and dine “al fresco” on the
waterfront at some of the oldest pubs in Sydney. The

Welcome to La Renaissance! We are one of Sydney's oldest family-owned French patisseries, and the first in the Southern Hemisphere to be awarded the prestigious Relais Desserts status with our head chef and co-owner Jean Michel Raynaud. Each morning we serving fresh buttery pastries, hot coffee & tea, juice, savouries and cakes every day. A great place to recharge and relax if you're new to Sydney and exploring Circular Quay and The Rocks, or a favourite for locals. Our best-selling items include almond croissants and the Monet, a white chocolate mousse cake with lychee jelly, raspberries and coconut base. Cult favourite, the ham and cheese croissant, sells out daily as well, with a shredded ham & cheese bechamel inside and on top of the croissant. Baked until crisp but still a little soft inside... we say yes please!
