We were quite happy with the food served in terms of taste and portion. Duck fried rice was great. However, my Dad’s credit card started getting unauthorised purchases soon after and it was the only time he took out the card this trip. Suggest the...More

Yes 10 out of 10. We had yum cha for lunch and it was faultless. I had a tsingtao that was ice cold. After walking the streets of sydney it was relaxing having an ice cold beer in a very clean and ambient restaurant like...More

We were unfortunately fooled by the $18.80 per head meal offering on the street. The starters were ok but very limited supply of rice and tiny main course serves. Definitely a poor offering. Main waiter was also somewhat rude.

This restaurant has a good lunch special. If you are in Chinatown and need a break, would recommend the nine dragons. It was nice and quiet with good service.

Restaurant and staff are nice but the food was terrible. I had the Nine Dragon chicken in a sweet sauce which was basically chicken and onions in Hoi Sin sauce. Not what I wanted and tasted horrible. Fried rice and starter where average at best....More

Second time I've dined at this restaurant. The service is fantastic and the food is absolutely delicious. Meals are reasonably priced.

I went here for dinner as I was walking through Chinatown Sydney and the menu looked good. The restaurant looked clean and the staff were friendly. Food is okay for the price but nothing amazing.

Nine Dragons is a stalwart of Sydney’s Chinatown, and is a family owned and operated restaurant that serves classic Cantonese cuisine in a relaxed setting. Nestled in the heart of Chinatown, Nine Dragons’ atmosphere makes it an ideal venue for enjoying all day yum cha with family and friends. Chow down on fluffy pork buns, juicy dumplings during yum cha hours, enjoy a long banquet with multiple courses, or simply order traditional specialties like sesame prawn toast, sweet and sour pork or lamb with X.O sauce from the A La Carte menu.
