This restaurant has been a local of Potts Point for many years. The menu under new owners and a change of chef has lifted the experience at this intimate bistro. Stefano the Italian waiter is always welcoming and a pure delight.

My husband and I dined on a Saturday night. We were lucky to be given a table outside so we could watch the passing parade. The restaurant is not large and plenty of people were being turned away as they hadn't booked. Our meals were...More

A lovely romantic restaurant with some alfresco tables. The food was delicious with a varied and interesting menu. Wine a little expensive. Service was excellent and we had a lovely evening outside watching the passing parade. Delightful.

We had a great night with the whole family thanks again to Stefano . He’s like one of the family after serving us for 9 years. Food is great but we always come back because of Stefano. He is the face of MSB.

Monday night celebrated 35 years of MSB ! and what a great menu it was! I thought I was somewhere in the quiet streets of Paris. The retro music and menu made for a great evening and it goes all week with favourites like garlic...More

It's all about the people I think and for me Stefano is part of what makes Macleay Street Bistro so legendary. Always warm, confident and just makes you feel at ease whenever you go there.
