My visit to Rossini was quite enjoyable - it was about to rain, and I needed dinner before heading to the Opera house, so I ducked in here. My eggplant Rossini was quite good. It is quite different from the typical US version - and that is ehy travelling is fun :) The portion was hearty and my.good arrived quickly.... More

We went to Rossini's for lunch and had Rossini Eggplant (rollup) and lasagne. Both were good but pretty much average. Service was a bit inattentive. Quite acceptable but nothing special foodwise.

We love the waterfront, so stopped here, always crowded, thinking it would be a good place for a nice meal and ship-watching. Wrong. The food was awful. I ordered a Margherita pizza - tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, fresh basil. Simple. Nope. What I got looked and tasted like an overdone cheese pizza - no tomatoes, no fresh mozz, no basil. I... More

Visited this place for lunch had the Smoked Salmon salad. Great food the service was a little slow. Location is excellent for viewing the cruise ships at the international terminal. The cost is excessive I paid $32 for my salad and the other person paid $33 for a chicken Caesar salad.

Had our lunch here with my family. We ordered New York style rump steak (350g). We had a bread entree, i am not certain if it was part of the meal or not. But we have eaten the bread which tastes good. The exciting part was when the steaks were served. I always have mine as medium well while my... More

We had lunch here and we ordered different pasta dishes. All were very nice, good size portions and tasty. The only problem was the lasagna wasn't heated through, but everything else was very nice. Good service.too. A bit pricey but it is in a tourist precinct.

We had breakfast here. The coffee was weak. Hollandaise sauce with the eggs benedict tasted too eggy. The food was not of the quality we were expecting of an Italian café in the heart of Circular Quay.

Wandered down to the quayside as fact finding mission having arrived this afternoon and stumbled across this restaurant and boy was I glad I did. We were promptly seat outside with a view of the bridge. My wife ordered the Veal Schnitzel with chips and I had the fish & chips (Barramundi) neither meal was cheap but the size of... More

The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The food is always amazing. Sitting outside is a fantastic place to watch the ferries and cruise liners come and go while sipping an excellent coffee. Unlike many restaurants in Sydney, they have raw sugar...

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
