PJ's is a great place for a meal at lunch or dinner, it has a good family pub atmosphere and plenty of dining space for large groups upstairs. I have used it for work/team lunches, leaving drinks and just as a great place to meet friends. They pay the big sporting events not just local but European and the US... More

This restaurant was probably one of the highlights of the trip with the children wanting me to find a similar restaurant back near home. The meals were sensational, the staff extremely friendly and the atmosphere really enjoyable.

We had a wonderful family time having an evening meal there. Main meal was great and we all enjoyed our dessert picks. Cheaper than Darling harbour, where you get stung with weekend penalty rates.

We had seafood chowder, calamari, ice cream, and beer. The calamari was excellent! The chowder and beer were good too. The service was great as well, even when it was fully busy. We also appreciated comfortable seating with air conditioning and the TVs and free wifi.

Food is oily, sloppy and overpriced, would not spend money on food here again. The Guinness is good though

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
