I love this cafe/ restaurant. It's pure veg; the thalis are great and its very reasonably priced. We got one punjabi thali, one south indian thali and a large lassi to share. It was delicious and filling, and the bill was less than $40. Its a busy place too, with lots of regulars. I see this place has received some... More

Despite generally being a fan of meat based curries, I really enjoyed the food at Maya. I had a thali and a potato pakora, all of which were flavourful. Good value for money.

Long Review - I have been visiting Maya Veg restaurant since a year now. I love their menu and the variety of options from the list. Quality is up to the mark and no one could match it. I prefer having Punjabi Veg Thaali majorly during my visits but have also tried almost everything from their menu and I admit... More

Good quality traditional food, friendly staff and cosey restaurant, It is a longstanding restaurant so don't expect trendy décor but very authentic food and friendly staff.

This was probably the worst indian lunch experience. For $16 they served 5 coldish sauces into which you could dip a nan bread. These were supposed to be curries, but there was not a single piece of meat or vegetable in them. The tables were dirty, staff kind of ok, but regret going there altogether.

Seriously, ask the staff for masala tea (an item that is clearly on their menu) and it's like you've asked them for a kidney! Once you've made the request you'll be on the waiting list for a very long time. One cup of tea can take up to 45 minutes! Now for the food, it's good and reasonably priced especially... More

The food was ok and there was lots of it, some of the curries tasted fine, but others were bland. Overall it was nothing special. Service could have been better. We had to hunt down bowls to eat from. Some of the sweets were good including the Jalebi.
