We arrived at the restaurant half hour before it opened for lunch and the staff kindly let us wait inside on the comfy lounge chairs and have a drink. Our table had a nice view of the passing parade of Darling Harbour, the waiters/waitresses all curteous and pleasant with good service to match.Food was delicious, 3 courses for $38 which... More

This is one of the more affordable good restaurants in Sydney, and one of the few good French places. For some reason, French cuisine is not easy to find in a town that has every cuisine on the planet. The service is good, but the food came out so soon after we ordered it, it was actually a little disconcerting!... More

I truly enjoyed my visit to the Little Snail. We were celebrating our engagement and the atmosphere was perfect for such an occasion. I enjoyed the escargot and the kangaroo. Both dishes were delicious and satisfying. I had never had kangaroo before and found it very flavourful. The rest of the guests at our celebration also enjoyed their meals of... More

I have been here a couple of time, the escargot never disappoints! Personally, I find its escargots almost as good as the ones in Paris. Went there with a Groupon voucher, $80 for two. However, the quality and quantity was no less than what would have been had we not have a voucher! Highly recommended for its food quality and... More

The location of the restaurant is in Darling Harbour. Very good location and easy to access. Close to Novotel hotel and Pyrmont. The food is 3 main course. Their snail is the best. My daughter loves the snail. The taste is yum yum. The main course that I had is the seafood platter. Love the portion. Not to small but... More

We had the three course dinner package. There some really good choices and it was nice to be able to decide between some delicious alternatives. The desserts all looked great too ! There were 8 of us and we all enjoyed our food!

Food is hit and miss. Snails were really bad. The lamb was very good but the veal looked and tasted like pub food. Nothing special about thr deserts. The staff were actually running around in the restaurant. It was busy but they shouldn't be running.

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
