I have been coming here for years. I always order the baked eggs chachouka and sucuk. They usually never disappoint me. But last time the dish was too watery. I hope they return back to their usual standard in the future. If it was as it usually is I would give 5 stars. The staff are polite, friendly and attentive.... More

This was a favourite amongst our foodie group but I think a chance of hands means a change of direction for this Surry Hills staple. It was expensive and sub par. Hopefully that changes soon.

Popped in here the other day for a coffee, but the brekkie menu looked to interesting not to try something. Full of Turkish and middle eastern options as well as some regulars. Wasn't disappointed with what I choose it was delicious. There was also a great range of teas, including Turkish apple and Moroccan Mint.

We booked a last minute table on a hot, Sydney, Saturday night. Our planned table (inside) was not ready, and it looked like we may have to wait a while, so we opted for outside. It is a small space inside. The food was very nice, although the meat dish portion was small. The pomegranate mocktail was beautiful and refreshing.... More

My wife and I really enjoyed dinner at Cafe Mint. The staff were helpful and the atmosphere was relaxed. We started with hummus and crisp bread which was very tasty and then we shared two main courses. The lamb kefta tagine was fantastic, the meatballs had pistachio and came with a light and tasty couscous with a great tomato sauce... More

I drop into Mint whenever I am in Sydney. The coffee is sublime and their breakfast are a-maz-ing! Last night I went for dinner...it was ok...I had the lobster crab ravioli dish which just lacked punch. Perhaps my expectations were too high. However don't let this put you off. This is a great place to eat and it has stood... More

We would not have found this restaurant without Trip Advisor most likely but were very glad we called in. Our Spanish waitress was excellent and looked after us really well. Her recommendations were all delicious too!

Wonderful find! Small, friendly cafe style restaurant featuring small and large plates of delectable Moroccan, Spanish, middle eastern dishes: mussels in a piquant broth so delicious we asked for bread to soak it up, perfectly roasted petite lamb chops on a bed on vegetables, swordfish seasoned with ducca and panko and roasted, served on roasted potatoes with a mysteriously flavorful... Had dinner with the family here. Small intimate setting. The manager / bartender or perhaps owner? was very friendly and you could tell she was passionate about the food. We tried the golden cauliflower with saffron aioli sauce, watermelon salad, mussels and lobster, crab, scallop ravioli. All were really nice, especially the ravioli, the stuffing was still juicy and flavorful.... More

My husband and I stumbled across this little venue on a weekend stay in Sydney, and i'm glad i did. The very friendly staff helped with hard decision making over the beautiful Spanish/tapas menu. We sat outside as it was quite a warm night and Cafe Mint had incense burning which took me to another place. I felt like i... More
