We did a Groupon voucher and had a set vegetarian dinner. Food was nice but nothing special. Rice, beans in tomatoes, falafel, hummus, tabouli, garlic potatoes. The restaurant is very cluttered and too dark. Service was prompt but soulless. I wouldn't go back.

We saw food being brought in from our front seat table so knew it was fresh. Kafta lamb with rice and stuffed zucchinis were terrific. This is a family show so no professional wait staff midweek but service was fine. We were done in less than an hour ready for our show. Belly dancer on weekends.

went to a birthday party where the whole restaurant was booked out. The food came in small dishes up and down the table ---much easier to manage than trying to pass around a big container. Everything was delicious -- top rank tabbouli with not too much oil, and not a high preponderance of bulgur wheat. Conspicuous by its absence was... More

We visited The Almustafa Lebanese Restaurant for dinner in mid June in a group of 30. This place fell much below my expectations. We had ordered the Vegetarian Sultan's Banquet at a cost of about $50 per person. The food was very clean, fresh and tasty, however the disappointment was with the variety and quantities, both of which were minimal.... More

We visited Almustafa Lebanese Restaurant in Sydney a few weeks back on recommendation from a man staying in our hotel. Since we love Mediterranean food we figured we would give it a shot as it was close by the sustainable house we were checking out that day. The décor is interesting, kind of a mix of everything middle east/Mediterranean, service... More

3 friends and I ordered $83 worth of food on at 6:30 on a Monday evening for delivery. We were informed the food would arrive by 7:45. We then received a call from the restaurant informing us that one of the lamb dishes we ordered was no longer available, so we asked for the chicken equivalent. The food arrived at... More

Six of us were there for our regular get-together. There was one vegetarian and one 11-y-o. We just relied on the waiter's recommendations and it was all good. The service was excellent without being intrusive, food likewise and the atmosphere relaxed and friendly.

Staying in Glebe

Neighbourhood Profile
An inner city suburb along the water, Glebe has a deep-rooted sense of cultural history and heritage. It originated as a semi-rural resort for the well-to-do, but has transformed into a student-centric melting pot. Visit Glebe Point Road for ethnic cuisine as standard as Mexican, Indian, Italian and Chinese, or as diverse as Spanish, Bavarian, Polish, Czech and Lebanese. You will find that Glebe is accepting of the eccentrics and aboriginals that roam the streets, integrating students and people of all economic statuses into the multi-cultural fabric that distinguishes this suburb. Glebe Foreshore is a great destination for a leisurely walk along the Bay, and the Saturday market is a great scene for bargain hunters.
