This place is worth seeking out. I like it when it rains as the noise on the tin roof sections is cool, but go for the awesome food. The kitchen does not close at 9pm - how terribly in-Sydney like!! This means if you can...More

Not quite a rooftop - although it is for that house, it is only the 7th floor. Poor views. But a very well-stocked bar. Prices as thwy are in Australia...

Found this little bar last week for a few drinks with some international work colleagues. Whilst a rooftop bar.. there is no view. The menu is bar snack styles with fries, burgers e.t.c though limited the meals are quite nice.

We'd planned on drink and evening meal on a Saturday night for a birthday celebration. A very warm day we were placed at a table in the hot sun, louvers were open in some windows but it was pretty airless. The seats were almost to...More

You enter a non descript office building and head to the top floor. Starts out as a fun adventure. The food is dude food, burgers and lobster (out of lobster tonight) would be a great casual place to start a night out. Summer with the...More

A rooftop bar in the city centre, ideal. Not quite. There is no real view from the bar area, the place looked and felt a bit too dirty and the bar service was appalling, an "ok no problem" would've sufficed rather than serving drinks in...More

Popped in for lunch and to enjoy the rooftop destination. We had a beer and a cider, Mac n Cheese arancini balls and Cheese and bacon loaded fries - not the healthiest of lunches, but we ate most of it! Rustic atmosphere under the sun,...More

The selection of gin is incredible and the staff are alway more than willing to help. You may find it hard to find your first time but go into the nondescript building and press "R" in the lift. Can get really busy of a weekend...More

I've been going to The Rook for years and unfortunately the level of food / drink quality has dropped significantly. I ordered the cheese and bacon fries - they came to the table covered in fried onions. I am allergic to onions and nowhere on...More

Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with
energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise
buildings and after-work drink places, high-end
shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners
frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a
dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit
the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle,
reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens
