Loved the wine selection. Service perfect. We had the spanakopita which was good, eggplant dish, chicken were all beautifully presented. My favourite was the split pea dish, proof to me that it can often be the simple things that are special. The general ambience in...More

We were greeted by Thomas who seemed overly welcoming and hospitable. Our dishes were below average given the pricing., in particular the lamb stew which had little meat and more of an Indian flavour. The most disappointing of all was that our sparkling mineral water...More

We went to Alpha based on glowing recommendations from our Sydney coworkers. We must have hit them on an off night, because our dinner was hit and miss and definitely NOT spectacular. I had the twice-cooked octopus which was a huge disappointment. It was dry,...More

Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with
energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise
buildings and after-work drink places, high-end
shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners
frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a
dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit
the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle,
reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens
