What a great find. We went twice while on our vacation in Sydney. The bartenders were so helpful with recommendations for my husband for Scotch. They also had some good wine for me.

Tugged away in backyard, the Baxter Inn provides its visitors with warm and nice ambience, an overwhelming variety of spirits and great cocktails mixed by a hipster crew behind the bar that seems to have been taken there from the 19th century by a time...More

This is by far the best whisky bar I have been to anywhere. The approach is a bit dubious and I was sure I was losing a kidney but once you get through the dark alley and down stairs into the rabbit hole, a magical...More

Perhaps a bit hard to find as you have to go through alleys and courtyards and then a big steel door that seem to lead to nowhere but a basement. At least I don't remember seeing signs, neon or otherwise. But I went with friends...More

Great atmosphere and feel, music a bit too loud! The drinks to die for! Not for kids definitely a young couples or a boys night out spot for the 25+age group in my opinion.

Hidden away from street view this underground bar is fit for a king. The atmosphere and ambeiance make you feel like you have travelled back in time to the old fashioned inns of England. Sit or stand the place is awesome and highly recommended.

Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with
energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise
buildings and after-work drink places, high-end
shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners
frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a
dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit
the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle,
reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens
