Strawberry and watermelon cake. Such a weird combination but I love it! Totally tasty though little expensive compared to other cakes

Was recommended to try the Strawberry and Watermelon cake. Certainly a very pleasant experience, but not cheap! Also had an almond croissant which was also very enjoyable.,

Overcharged us for our order. Coffee cup size less than generous for the price. After being served, promptly told us they were closing!

Overall good atmosphere. Savoury was good, especially the beer beef pie. Watermelon cake is really nice but the portion has been reduced and the price is very pricey. When busy coffee not that great.

someone recommended to me this cake and it is really nice! is a mixture of rose, watermelon and perhaps some nuts (not sure ..) but due to the great business of this desserts shop, you need to pre order the cake in advance, say 2 -3 days...

If you can only have one cake when you visit Sydney - this is the place you need to go to. Tip: if you... More

I've been wanting to try the watermelon cake for a while. Did the queue think risking a parking fine, it was nice but do it should be for the cost and wait. Would I return ? No.

I first found Black Star Pastry at the Chinese New Year Markets in Pyrmont earlier this year. I sampled their amazing desserts - and BOOM! It was like a party in my mouth. Once again, but attending Sydney's Night Noodle Markets (held in Hyde Park for free in the first two weeks of October each year) I found Black Star... More
