Great spot. Not been here for a while. Food very fast (but then it wasn't too busy). Great ambience. Nice wine list. Will be back.

Fish based menu and some of the choices expensive, so we went for cheaper options. Busy place so a bit noisy. Food that was delivered was fine, but had much better for less money.

Limited service has been replaced with no service. Rude bartenders/cashiers with what appears to be French accents. Non existent waiters. The only thing good is that the manager listened to my complaints. This place used to be great - now poorly managed and staffed.

We happened by and managed to find a spot to have dinner. We had steak tartare, which was a bit salty, linguine, crab mac & cheese, and mixed greens; all of which were delicious. We had great service but the music was so loud that we could barely hear each other talk. Well worth a visit.

Met here with friends for the crab fest. Great food, good atmosphere if a bit noisy. Not a place to chat but good for after work drinks and a bite to eat.

3 of us for a biz lunch. Bottle of wine , 3 mains, 3 coffees. I had the burger & dick fat fries. The burger was tasty but quite obviously cooked earlier & reheated. Likewise the fries which were soggy & just warm. Plastic waitress who obviously learned a process by rote. Had to ask 3 times for a glass... More

Disgraceful service. Disgusting attitude. Worst bar I've been. Went to the bar to order a bottle of wine. Got told there is table service. Then tried talking to a staff in red checker shirt to order the wine. Got told there is no table service and need to order at the bar. We were obviously confused being told different things.... Dear Thomas, it's disappointing to hear of your recent experience at our venue and it definitely sounds like their was a breakdown in communication at some point during that time. In the main bar section, we do ask our customers to order at the bar as (generally) we only offer table service to the dining areas of the restaurant for... More

It started with my husband pulling the cartilage of the crab from his linguine - it just hadn't been cleaned properly. And the ragout was woefully underseasoned. Then when the waitress came at the end of the meal, she seemed totally disinterested in our feedback about the crab. Then she failed to clean away our plates, and then when she... More

Booked a table for New Years Eve. The food was excellent. The service was great. Good value considering it was NYE. Great location to see some of the fireworks. Then back to the bar for drinks and dancing. Was an excellent night all round!

Staying in The Rocks

Neighbourhood Profile
The Rocks
The first residents of the Rocks were convicts and sailors from the old nation. As the oldest neighbourhood in the city, the area's cobblestone streets host more than 100 heritage sites and buildings, including the oldest house in Sydney, Camden Cottage, which was built in 1816. Taste a “midi “ or a “schooner” of beer and dine “al fresco” on the waterfront at some of the oldest pubs in Sydney. The weekend markets at the Rocks are where you can find local artists' hand-made souvenirs, organic food and designer jewelry in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. To enjoy some of the best Australian and international contemporary art, the MCA museum is open every day and select evenings. At the end of a long day of sightseeing, be sure to save energy to dance the night away at the area's many late night entertainment venues.
