Don't even bother stopping here. The food is fine, not great. The service is awful. We came here twice in two weeks. We thought that maybe the first time was an anomaly. Unfortunately, it was not. The service is extremely slow, the table next to us had problems with their order being wrong, and they never had any of the... More

What a great place for lunch, just by Circular Quay overlooking the Harbour Bridge..., We had a cold seafood sharing platter which was amazing, but the steaks and burgers also looked good. Personally i would get a table in the middle of the seating area as unfortunately on the outer edge you might have to share your dinner with the... More

The food here was much better and more reasonably price than I expected, given it's location. I had both lunch and dinner here and was pleased with both.

Sydney is a great city to visit. Enjoyed lots of hospitality there. Stopped for lunch at the Searock Grill on a sunny Sydney afternoon. The food is really good. The service is really poor ! Not overly busy but a long wait for drinks, food we didn't order, people with food and no cutlery, long wait for any attention and... More

Hi 7marshs, Thank you for your feedback. I am glad that you enjoyed the food at Searock and disappointed that the service was not up to scratch. We have recently updated and changed our table numbers and we expected to have teething issues in the first couple of days. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this might have caused you.... Even as a single diner I had a table with a great view of the harbour activity and the people out enjoying the evening at Circle Quay. The food was excellent. I had the seafood curry and it was flavourful, with a bit of spice but not too hot and loaded with perfectly cooked fish and shellfish.

I can't say the good was terrible, it wasn't however it didn't impress me to pay $10 for a tap beer and to not even get a schooner - maybe I'm a bit bogan? I only had olive and feta with bread and some oysters- all tasted ok. Service was a bit slow and the 10% surcharge for a Saturday... More

Fantastic value for money in an amazing location. 19$ steaks perfectly cooked and very tender and the fish and chips equally as good.

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
