Dined here on a Saturday night. Had booked a table but on arrival the waiter didn't seem to have our booking and just pointed us to a table. Good food and wine selection and all reasonably priced for Sydney CBD. We shared the halloumi and hummus to start which was lovely. No sooner had the plates been lifted than the... More

Sydney is just loaded with places to eat and on a cool Friday evening, the streets and eating establishments are crowded and noisy. The Subterranean is in a quiet corner of the underground food hall at the Westin. Great, attentive service. Greek cuisine true to its origin, well plated and tasty. The Octopus appetizer was marvelous. Highly recommended for a somewhat... More

We were very impressed to discover a new would under the Old GPO. The service was good and no time wasted in your lunch break. Food was tasty and good with all members of our party commenting how good it was. Will definitely visit again.

My first time here for lunch this afternoon. I was supposed to have lunch with a friend but he did not turn up because of the inclement weather. To begin with the waitress kindly agreed to my buying a beer at the main bar within the dining complex which was good service.... I just ordered their Lamb Souvlaki which was... More

Tucked away in the corner of the GPO downstairs, we realised that this was a hidden secret right in the heart of the Westin Hotel. Unlike the other expensive offerings in the same area, this restaurant is actually great value for money. The filo pastry is highly recommended. It was like a meal itself. Good range of soulavki meat dishes,... More

We visited here in October for a HENs party, including dinner and a cabaret show. Dinner was a set of serving platters shared between four. Food was delicious and the service very efficient, well worth the coin (if anything there was too much food!). Bar service at the restaurant makes a mean expresso martini! Show downstairs was a little disappointing... More

I know this is probably meant to be a place to catch up after work and grab a quick bite, but it was getting good reviews so I thought we'd try it. On a Friday night it was crowded and noisy as you would expect. We had booked so all was good. We had halloumi and zucchini fritters and the... More
